Edmund Jansen

Edmund Jansen, 83, passed away on May 15, 1987 in Kirksville, Mo. He was born in Shelby County, Missouri to Mae and C.L. Jansen in 1904. A farmer all his life, he and his wife Nellie Lee Ashcroft Jansen, raised twin daughters, Clunette and Claudette. Edmund loved to tinker in his shop and he could fix just about anything. He also loved to fish and put on fish fry for his neighbors in the summer. Edmund loved music and called square dances at the Grange Hall in Hunnewell.

He and his wife Nellie Lee vacationed during the winter in Donna Texas where they played cards and visited with their neighbors. Edmunds wife, Nellie Lee, his daughter Clunette, a grandson, Jeff, all preceeded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Claudette of Conroe, Texas and his grand daughters, Michelle and Susan.
